Monthly Liturgical Calendar

2018-2019 Monthly Liturgical Calendar

from 26.00

The 2018-2019 Year of Virtue Calendar lends support to individuals and families on their journey of faith. Through studying the lives of the saints, following the liturgical calendar at home, making hands-on crafts, and lots of prayer we open our lives to the pursuit of virtue.

Featuring colorful artwork from Providential Co, this family-friendly monthly calendar includes daily readings, feast days, and seasonal liturgical colors. Curated with families in mind, the focused content is centered around a core virtue or a focused feast day with relevant insights from Jennifer Gregory Miller of Catholic Culture, common Catholic prayers, and family-friendly activities. The generous 12x18" calendar size also allows for personal writing space for each day.

Styles:
Artisan - 11x17” cover on Mohawk fine paper, interior on standard paper.
Standard - 12x18” limited quantity available.
Binding: White wire with calendar hanger
Features: Special art on every page; monthly craft suggestions; daily readings, feast days, novenas, and space for personal notes.
Artist: Providential Co.

Most of us could benefit from building awareness and application of the virtues. A good friend of mine and I are developing a casual, monthly curriculum for our kids. It is out of this new curriculum, the ideas for the calendar have grown.

Since the new liturgical year does not start until December, we have already started publishing some of the activities and ideas on the Telos Art Blog.

Read more about our collaboration with Providential Co. here.

Emmaus Road Pegs has developed DIY peg kits to correspond with the activities we have suggested in the liturgical calendar. Sets will include 2-3 blank pegs, paint, brushes, sealer, and instructions. These kits will be available to purchase individually or as a monthly subscription. (HINT: By the end of the year you could have the cutest hand-painted nativity scene around!) When you purchase a liturgical calendar, you will receive a special discount code to apply towards the Emmaus Road Peg DIY kits.

We will also bring back the popular yearly poster. Keep an eye out for pre-sales in late October.
