NEW: The Saintmaker Catholic Planner!

The Saintmaker Catholic Planner

When I began this business after converting to Catholicism I set out to design timeless, modern pieces that would inspire others on their journey of faith. Our first product was a modern liturgical calendar.

Now, 5 years later, I am thrilled to be partnering with The Saintmaker Catholic Planner as an affiliate. I am SO excited to introduce this new resource to you.

The Saintmaker is a quarterly or yearly planner that “combines timeless wisdom with modern productivity science.” How cool is that? And, I don’t know about you, but I could definitely use some help in both the wisdom and productivity departments.

The Saintmaker draws on the lives of the saints, innumerable Catholic sources, traditional books, and Church documents to dig up all-but-forgotten traditions, devotions, ascetic practices, herbal lore, Christian recipes, and much, much more.

One of the first questions I had about this resource:

DOES THE SAINTMAKER FOLLOW THE TRADITIONAL (1962) OR CURRENT LITURGICAL CALENDAR?

The Saintmaker follows BOTH the liturgical books of 1962 which Pope Benedict XVI authorized for use in the Universal Church as well as the present ordinary form of the Church’s calendar. We wanted to include both forms for several reasons:

  1. The planner is designed to be (lowercase) catholic—that is, universal—for use by faithful Catholics (uppercase) in both forms of the Roman Rite.

  2. Seeing the two forms of the calendar side-by-side affords the user with an interesting opportunity to assess the changes over time, which can be a very illuminating exercise.

  3. We believe that it’s important to keep Catholics souls unified; Catholics faithful to Holy Mother Church are brothers and sisters no matter which form of the Mass they attend.
