“Beauty is indeed a good gift of God.”
—ST. AUGUSTINE, City of God
I read this quote in Meghan Ashley Sokolowski’s book, The Catholic Wardobe, Musings from a Personal Stylist. And it reminded me that God does not want us to hide our beauty; he wants us to protect it. Hiding it would be like burying one of the gifts His has given to us for the good of others. But, as with all of His good gifts, we must steward it wisely.
