How to Measure Your Ring Size

Have you been eyeing some of our Miraculous or Rosary rings but been to afraid to pull the trigger because of an unknown ring size? Well, we have a quick, easy way to get an estimated size.

Measuring your ring size with string is a simple and easy way to get an approximate size. Here are the steps:

  1. Cut a piece of string or thin strip of paper about 6 inches long.

  2. Wrap the string or paper around the base of the finger, just below your knuckle is ideal. Make sure it fits snugly but not too tight, and mark the spot where the end of the string or paper overlap.

  3. Use a ruler to measure the length of the string or paper from the starting point to the mark you made. This measurement in millimeters or inches is the circumference of your finger; the inside circumference of the ring. Measuring in millimeters is most accurate.

  4. Use the Ring Size Conversion Chart below to find your ring size based on the circumference measurement you obtained.

While we offer this as a guide, it is important to note that this method may not be as accurate as getting your ring size measured professionally. Also, keep in mind that different fingers may have slightly different sizes, so measure the finger on which you plan to wear the ring.

For fine jewelry pieces, we strongly recommend having your finger sized in person by a local jeweler or at a jewelry counter.

Standard ring size conversion chart is offerd as way to approximate your ring size.
