Called to Kállos Retreat: Day 2

HOW DOES TELOS ART RELATE TO SACRED ART?

People often ask me what Telos has to do with Catholic jewelry and sacred art. Telos is a Greek word meaning ultimate purpose or highest end.

And unlike secular views of beauty, we recognize that beauty is not the end in and of itself - the pursuit of beauty is to draw closer to its Creator. My prayer is that our designs elevate not just our jewelry collection or our decor, but also our hearts and minds to God Himself.

Until tomorrow,

Jessica

P.S. For making it halfway through the retreat, I wanted to offer you this special gift. I realize not all in this group are mothers, so maybe this is a print you could share with your own mom or a friend.

Welcome to day two of the retreat

Bonus freebie below!

In today’s retreat handout, I walk you through how to react to cleaning, the way Jesus wanted Martha to in the classic Martha and Mary situation (no, He wasn’t telling her to stop serving!), and how you can use that to respond to your own tasks today.

Download today’s handout (and lockscreen reminder!) to put this into practice today, and make sure you return to it tonight to complete the nightly True, Good, and Beauty Examen.
