Polished brass, single-sided medals featuring a Byzantine image of the Madonna and Child. Only a few available.

This stunning, 1/2" medal is suspended from a 16" gold filled satellite chain.

A special request was made for us to carry these beautiful, polished brass medals from a monastery in Lourdes, France. We reached out to Artisanats des Monasteres de Bethleem before adding them in the shop (they are happy to know these medals are in the United States!).

Medals are sourced from a monastery in Lourdes, France, visit Bethleem.org to learn more about the monastic sisters who hand pour the enamel for these medals. It recommended that these medals are not exposed to harsh chemicals or hot water due to the delicate nature of the cold enamel.
